Industrial Minera Mexico S.A. de C.V is a subsidiary of Southern Copper Corp. and belongs to Grupo Mexico S.A. de C.V. It is engaged in the exploration and exploitation of eight Mexican mines, producing minerals such as zinc, lead, copper, silver and gold. Minera Mexico also operates five industrial processing plants in the country. The company was incorporated in 1985 and is based in Mexico City. In 2012, the company merged with Minerales Metálicos del Norte S.A. de C.V.
