Olympic Perú Inc., a subsidiary of US oil company Olympic Oil and Gas Corp., owns and operates oil and gas reserves. It owns, explores and develops block XIII in Peru's Sechura desert and block 145 in the northern regions of Amazonas and Cajamarca. Olympic Perú is currently developing a petrochemical complex project, which calls for the construction of a urea and ammonia plant that would use natural gas from the company's block XIII-B in Piura department. The plant would process 3.8Mf3/d (107,604m3/d) gas to produce 138t/d ammonia and 200t/d urea. Olympic Perú was founded in 1991 and is based in Piura, Peru.
