US headhunting firm Robert Half International (NYSE: RHI) has launched operations in Chile as part of its expansion plan across South America to tap into the region's fast-growing financial services industry, the firm said in a press release.

"The launching of operations in Chile is an important milestone for the company's regional expansion. Following the consolidation of operations in Brazil, this is our second office in South America and a key platform to reach new markets," Robert Half International's director for Latin America, Ricardo Bevilacqua, said.

In November last year, headhunting firm Michael Page International launched its operations for Chile and Argentina, after the success of its Brazilian operations.
