Itaú Unibanco appoints new insurance head as part of management changes

Brazil's largest private sector bank, Itaú Unibanco (NYSE: ITUB), has appointed Marcos Lisboa as new head of its insurance operations as part of management changes at the banking group, local press reported.

The bank's current insurance unit head, Zeca Rudge, will take charge of retail banking from Ricardo Marino, who will lead Itaú Unibanco's operations in Latin America.

Itaú Unibanco is one of the largest insurance players in Brazil through its insurance arm Itaú Seguros and 30% stake in the country's leading auto insurer, Porto Seguro.
