MoneyGram appoints new VP for Latin American markets

MoneyGram International (NYSE: MGI) has appointed George Zelinski as VP of Central America, South America and the Caribbean, the global money transfer company said in a press release.

In this role, Zelinski will develop and direct sales strategies to grow the company's market position and business among all sales channels, as well as MoneyGram's agent network in these regions.

Prior to MoneyGram, the executive spent 10 years with Arlington, Texas-based money transfer company DolEx Dollar Express, where he served in various capacities including CEO, CFO, and VP of sales.
