The deadline to pay the participation fee and submit qualification documents is July 2 with offers due the following month, according to bidding rules.


The energy and mines ministry granted Tarucani Generating Company a definitive concession for 138kV 58.4km transmission line Tarucani-Majes. The project will connect the company's planned 49MW hydro in southern Arequipa region to the national grid.


In filings to securities regulator SMV, power distributors Electro Puno and Electro Sur Este announced they had signed agreements with the ministry to launch renewable energy auctions for off-grid areas. Contracts will run 15 years.
