Temer opens Brazilian satellite control center

The Cope-P system cost over 200mn reais and will be the main operating hub of the SGDC satellite. Brazil already opened the Cope-S backup station in Rio de Janeiro. The SGDC satellite was launched in May 2017 and the entire project is budgeted at 2.8bn reais (US$716mn)..
