Chavez reshuffles social security agency board

President Hugo Chavez has replaced the board of Venezuela's social security agency, government news service Venpres reported.

The IVSS's new board will be formed by Jesus Maria Viloria as chairman, Earle Jesus Siso Garcia and Carmen Julieta Centeno. Their replacements in the event of illness or travel are Carlos Rontandaro, Luis Gilberto Melendez and Carlos Aguilera.

In other news, the IVSS and pharmaceutical companies have reached an agreement under which the companies will continue supplying the agency with drugs for AIDS, cancer and transplants.
