PP prices to increase a total US$70/t in April

Polypropylene (PP) prices in Argentina increased by US$35/t in the first part of April, energy and commodity information service Platts reported.

"We are planning to implement a total US$70/t increase, half now and the other half during the end part of April," Platts quoted a source as saying.

PP currently sells for US$1,080-1,100/t for homo-raffia to US$1,400 for special resins.
