Bolivia begins expanded urea sales

Bolivia's state hydrocarbons company YPFB kicked off its previously announced sale of urea to small and medium-sized clients, starting in the city of Santa Cruz.

Customers may buy as little as a 50kg bag at 146 bolivianos (US$21) to 20t at the distribution point, which has capacity to store 150t, said YPFB, which added that larger volumes are sold at the Bulo Bulo ammonia and urea plant in Cochabamba.
