Latin American e-payment platform MercadoPago's transactions during January-September grew 105% year-on-year, the company said in a statement.

During the first three quarters of the year, the company recorded a total of 4.3mn operations.

MercadoPago operates in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico and Venezuela.

Uruguayan software firm Concepto has opened a new office in capital Montevideo, Uruguay's IT chamber Cuti said in a statement.

The new office is located in Uruguayan technological lab Latu's IT hub.


Argentine IT chamber Cessi and the local foreign affairs ministry have worked together to define trade missions for software companies this year, Cessi said in a statement.

Cessi expects local software and IT services companies to visit several markets this year, including Panama, Costa Rica, Brazil, the US, Spain, Peru, Colombia, Mexico and Chile.


Brazilian IT firm Artsoft Sistemas has launched a SAP Business One solution, the company said in a statement.

The SAP Business One application integrates all core business functions across the entire company - including financials, sales, customer relationship management, inventory and operations.

Headquartered in Rio de Janeiro, Artsoft has offices in Sao Paulo and Bahia.
