Brazilian document scanning provider Acesso Digital is expanding its presence in the country with an office in capital Brasilia, online news source Computer World reported.
The new facility is Acesso's sixth in Brazil and will focus on serving local and regional auto dealers.
"This year, we established four new units in strategic cities of the country, such as Curitiba [Paraná state], Belo Horizonte [Minas Gerais] and Ribeirão Preto [São Paulo]. Now, with the unit in Brasilia, we have presence in the central-western region of the country," Acesso Digital's commercial director, Edgar Ferretti, was quoted as saying.
The initiative is part of the company's expansion plans and its goal to make document digitalization services more mainstream in the country, the executive added.
According to the company, online documents allow organizations to reduce paper use by 70%.
