Critical power and cooling services company APC expects its channel partner base in the Southern Cone to record double-digit growth this year, the company's manager for the region, Ricardo Lubschik, told BNamericas.
The executive said APC currently has some 6,000 active channel partners across the Southern Cone region, with some 4,000 channels in Argentina alone.
For his part, company VP of IT business for Latin America Jorge Cortez said APC also expects revenues from its Spanish-speaking markets in the region to expand in the double digits during 2011.
APC regional revenues last year grew more than 20%, Cortez said, and "we plan to maintain our leading position and continue gaining share in all markets across the region. In certain markets our share exceeds 50%."
The main markets in terms of revenue contribution are Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, Chile and Peru, he added.
APC, part of multinational firm Schneider Electric, provides data center infrastructure and uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems. It sells its products through a network of wholesale distributors and other partners.
