The Argentine unit of Brazilian IT services provider Asyst International expects its client base to expand some 30% this year, the unit's commercial director, Marcelo Arrabal, told BNamericas.
The company ended last year with more than 30 clients in Argentina.
The company also became the first service desk company in Argentina to obtain ISO 20000 certification. "Clients are looking for quality services, and we are the only company in the local market with the ISO 20000 certification in service desk," the executive said.
Arrabal added that the company expects to sell more services to existing clients during 2011.
In 2010, Asyst International Argentina's revenues grew 22% year-over-year to US$36.8mn, with the growth joined by agreements made with regional IT companies.
Specializing in service desk, the company was founded in Brazil in 1985 and has subsidiaries in Argentina and Chile. It currently has 100 large clients globally.
