Banrisul's data center tender expected for March 2012

Brazil's Rio Grande do Sul state bank Banrisul expects to call tenders in March 2012 for the construction of its new data center in city Porto Alegre, local news source Baguete reported.

The project, estimated at 43mn reais (US$24.4mn), is currently under analysis for approval by several government agencies.

The center will have a surface area of 1,000m2, of which 500m2 will be used from the start of operations.
