eCareSoft, a Texas-based IT solutions provider for the healthcare market, has reached an agreement to acquire Mexican software developer Expert Sistemas Computacionales, the former said in a statement.
Both companies are privately held, and the acquisition is expected to be finalized early 2012. The value of the deal was not disclosed.
The combined companies will leverage eCareSoft's cloud-based technology platform and Expert's healthcare solutions to expand their product lines for hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers and physician practices.
In addition, eCareSoft will benefit from Expert's CMMI-Dev Level 3 software factory, and the company's presence in Mexico, with offices in Monterrey, Ciudad Victoria and Mexico City.
Founded in 1988, Expert Sistemas has 105 employees working in programming, quality assurance, support, implementation and sales.
