US firm eMamba International, a provider of cloud-based business management software and after-sales customer care services, has signed a three-year business development agreement with the Mercosur trade bloc, the company said in a statement.
Under the terms of the agreement, Mercosur's chamber of industry and commerce (CIC) will aid eMamba in developing its business and generating sales in Mercosur member countries. Under the agreement, CIC will provide eMamba with advisory and consulting services across a range of specialty business functions, including management, marketing and public relations.
As part of the agreement, Mercosur has been granted 45mn shares of eMamba stock, equivalent to 25% of eMamba International.
Mercosur is a South American economic trade zone that comprises four full-member states - Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay and Uruguay.
eMamba's suite of cloud applications includes enterprise resource planning (ERP) and customer relationship management (CRM) functions.
