Grupo Euclides to open offices in Colombia, Chile

Spanish IT consultancy Grupo Euclides plans to open offices in Colombia by year-end and in Chile by the first half of 2012, company marketing manager Mariana Sahores told BNamericas.

The company was unable to provide exact dates for the branch openings, but said it is in "an advanced stage of negotiations."

Grupo Euclides also expects to see its client base grow 20% and to bill US$8mn in 2012, according to a statement released by the company.

Euclides plans to continue its Latin American expansion plans, especially in Chile and Colombia, through partnerships with local companies and investment in R&D.

The company has more than 100 clients in the region, with offices in Argentina and Mexico, and operations in Colombia, Chile, Peru, Uruguay and Paraguay. It offers services to verticals such as retail, logistics, manufacturing, building, services and agriculture.

Microsoft (Nasdaq: MSFT) Latin America recently named Euclides as its best Dynamics ERP regional partner. Part of Microsoft's partner program, the award recognizes regional partners providing software solutions based on the company's technology. This year, 420 partners in Latin America were evaluated.
