Indian outsourcing firm Hinduja Global Solutions (HGS) is looking to acquire international customer relationship management (CRM) companies from the US, Europe and Latin America, HGS chief executive Partha Sarkar told Indian media outlet The Economic Times.
Sarkar said the acquisitions could range from US$50mn-100mn. According to the executive, the valuation is too high for HGS to target Indian firms for acquisitions.
The company also plans to hire about 2,000 people for its offices in India and other parts of the world. The new hires would bring HGS' total personnel count to 22,000.
HGS provides outsourcing solutions to more than 80 clients through delivery centers in India, the US, the UK and the Philippines. The company operates in industries that include telecoms, consumer electronics, government and insurance.
