US company Informatica Data Integration has opened an office in Brazilian capital Brasília to focus on the public sector, news source Baguete reported.
The new office, which will be directed by Rodrigo Solon, will serve the company's 20 clients in the public sector, as well as focus on attracting new customers.
In Brazil, the company also has offices in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo.
Informatica offers solutions for integrating any kind of system - proprietary platforms and open source - integrating legacy systems and new applications. The company also offers cloud-based systems integration.
Based in Redwood City, the company has more than 4,440 clients worldwide, including 84 Fortune 100 companies.
In addition to the public sector - in which Informatica provides services to organizations from 20 countries - the company also has clients in sectors such as telecom, financial services, insurance, health and utilities.
