JJC-Computers expects to reach US$700k in new software sales

Tuesday, May 3, 2011

Peruvian IT solution provider JJC-Computers' distribution agreement with Spanish IT company Yerbabuena Software will bring in additional sales of about US$704,000 in the year, José Ventocilla, commercial manager of JJC-Computers, told BNamericas.

In Peru, JJC-Computers will distribute Yerbabuena's Software Athento, an intelligent document management system designed to reduce the time of administrative tasks. It can be integrated with other existing modules - such as SAP, OpenBravo or NackVision - and has the ability to learn from user behavior and can upload semantic algorithms that allow for strategic decision making.

According to Ventocilla, the main strategy for this year will be to position the product in the market and then target clients in the public sector and in large and medium-sized enterprises.

"In the public sector, we're targeting municipalities this year, and we expect to expand to other government institutions. We have already started offering special promotions to both sectors," Ventocilla said.

The customizable system's price tag can range from US$10,000-300,000, depending on client requirements.

JJC-Computers is an IT solution company with more than five years in Peru's market. Last year sales reached US$1mn.
