Korean agency planning new training center

A trade mission from the Korean International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) is finishing studies to create the Paraguay-Korea professional institute of technology, under the umbrella of the national service for professional development, the Paraguayan president's office said in a release.

With a US$5mn investment, the 4,100m2 center will aim to train professionals in high-demand areas, such as automatization, ICT and electronics.

The mission has already inspected the site where the center will be located, in a central area in capital Asunción, and in the coming days mission participants will visit the industry and trade ministry, as well as several companies and industry associations focused on relevant areas for the center.
