US software company LANDesk expects to invest in opening two Latin American support centers next year, the company's general director for the region, Marcelo Lava, told BNamericas.
One of these support centers will be opened in Brazil to provide support to LANDesk's clients in the local market, while the other will be opened in a different, yet-to-be-decided country. "We're studying different factors such as costs and staff requirements to identify where we will open the support center," Lava said.
The executive confirmed that LANDesk's Brazilian support center will be located in São Paulo.
Lava also said the firm plans to invest in expanding current sales staff presence across all regional countries where it operates.
LANDesk's regional business is 100% based on partnerships and alliances.
The company provides systems lifecycle management, endpoint security and IT service management solutions for desktops, servers and mobile devices across the enterprise segment. The company is headquartered in Salt Lake City, Utah, with offices located in the Americas, Europe and Asia-Pacific.
