Brazilian IT solutions provider Matera Systems generated revenues of 30mn reais (US$18.4mn) last year, surging 28% compared to 2009, local IT news site Baguete reported.
For 2012, the firm expects revenues to reach 50mn reais, according to the report.
The company also expects growth to come through acquisitions, executive director Carlos André Branco Guimarães was reported as saying. Last year, Matera acquired 35% of local firm FingerTips, which focuses on applications for iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad and Android.
The company also said it expects to invest 8mn reais in R&D in the next two years.
The company focuses on solutions for the financial segment. Matera has offices in São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Campinas, Maringá and the US.
