US software supplier Pitney Bowes Business Insight (PBBI) (NYSE: PBI) intends to double revenues in Brazil this year with a focus on the financial, telecommunications and public sectors, the company's director for the Americas, Greg Van den Heuvel, told BNamericas.
Analysts foresee the annual software market in Brazil generating US$2bn, the executive added.
PBBI also intends to expand across Latin America, which today accounts for 10% of all revenues from the Americas, including the US and Canada. The region is expected to deliver 20% of all Americas revenues within five years - probably closer to three - Heuvel said without providing exact figures.
PBBI's growth in Latin America, he added, is stronger than the overall industry rate of 12-15%.
