Brazilian price comparison site BuscaPé has launched its new service, the company said in a statement.

The solution integrates BuscaPé's portal with an e-commerce platform, an online shopping cart and Dinero Mail as a payment method to help entrepreneurs and SMEs with their online businesses. offers allows companies to implement at a low cost a shopping cart within the site to serve clients directly and increase customer loyalty, according to BuscaPé.

Argentine software provider Sistemas Bejerman is presenting to the local market its eFlex Producción software, specially designed for the integral management of industrial firms, the company said in a statement.

The presentation, scheduled for December 1, will be held in capital Buenos Aires and is aimed at directors, production managers, plant managers and financial managers of industrial companies.

Management specialists from Sistemas Bejerman will present some of the solution's main applications, such as production planning, supply and inventory, product engineering, ISO standards and traceability.


Cisco (Nasdaq: CSCO) has appointed Alba San Martín as general manager for its unit in Peru, the company said in a statement.

The executive had been sales manager for the Andean region since 2010.

San Martín will be in charge of the company's operations in Peru and Bolivia, and will act as the main link with local partners, customers, government agencies and industry groups.


Brazilian computing equipment manufacturer Daten Computadores is consolidating its 10 years of presence in the country with the launch of HD notebooks and its first netbook, the Daten Mobile NTV00, the company said in a statement.

Located in the Ilhéus IT hub, the company has also consolidated in the government segment, which represented 80% of its revenues in 2010.

Daten expects to grow 15% this year, with a strong performance in the corporate and retail markets.
