Argentina's e-commerce trade association Cace will host the e-commerce Day Buenos Aires conference on September 28, Cace said in a statement.

The event will feature talks on mobile banking, e-business, mobile solutions and digital entertainment. There will also be an e-commerce awards ceremony, which recognizes prominent companies in the industry.

Tapix, a microblogging platform for investors, is launching operations in Brazil, the startup said in a statement.

The new social network facilitates communication among people interested in discussing and sharing information on the financial market.

Tapix has agents and algorithms that interact with users and analyze the information to calculate market perceptions. It helps investors by facilitating information exchange and sharing of graphics, images, links and reports.


Latin American e-commerce company MercadoLibre (Nasdaq: MELI) has added a new feature to its MercadoShops solution to create an online store on Facebook integrated with MercadoLibre and payment systems, the company said in a statement.

Using the MercadoShops administrator, users can set up a store with all products already published on MercadoShops.

All products are integrated with Facebook's "I like" button and comments tool to show interactions on buyers' and sellers' walls.


Latin American IT consultancy Neoris has opened 60 job opportunities in various cities in southeast Brazil to support the company's growth, Neoris said in a statement.

The company has doubled its revenues in Brazil in the last two years, and the goal is to repeat this achievement this year.

Neoris will be hiring in São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Minas Gerais states.

The openings include professionals specialized in SAP platforms, consultants and analysts with experience in Oracle and .Net. Fluency in English will be required for some openings.
