Latin American consultancy and systems integrator Grupo Assa has cut the ribbon on a delivery center in Mexico, the company said in a statement.

The facility will provide services related to SAP (NYSE: SAP) and Oracle (Nasdaq: ORCL) solutions.

Grupo Assa currently supports more than 40,000 clients in 30 countries.

More than 58,000 students in Argentina's San Luis province will benefit from the government technology program Todos los Chicos en la Red (All the Children on the Internet), Universidad de La Punta (ULP) said in a statement.

The initiative, which aims to cover all primary school students, calls for the distribution of PCs, as well as related hardware and software products.


Argentine cable manufacturer Izajes y Transmisiones has tapped Spanish administration software provider Grupo Softland for an ERP solution, the latter company said in a statement.

According to the Spanish firm, Izajes y Transmisiones will use the ERP to help manage business areas such as product line and quality testing.


The International Association of Outsourcing Professionals (IAOP) has recognized Latin American IT consultancy firm Neoris as one of the world's top 100 outsourcers, Neoris said in a statement.

The ranking is based on factors such as company size, growth, global presence and value generated for clients.
