Argentine IT consulting firm Liveware has launched operations in Uruguay, after signing a strategic agreement with local company Awen-TIC, which will sell Liveware solutions and provide technical support, the former said in a release.

Headquartered in Buenos Aires, Liveware has participated in projects in other Latin American countries and Europe.

Brazilian IT company Stefanini has opened a new office in Mexico City, the company said in a statement.

Stefanini has four other offices and one development center in the country.

Stefanini provides IT outsourcing services to large and medium-size businesses globally. The company's primary services are IT infrastructure outsourcing, including help desk and desktop managed services, application development and lifecycle management services, systems integration and consulting, and strategic staffing services.


Software giant SAP (NYSE:SAP) has launched the latest version of its SAP BusinessObjects governance, risk and compliance solution in Latin America, the company said in a statement.

The suite offers SAP BusinessObjects access control, risk management and process control applications.


Brazilian IT hub Pó has launched a new website, the hub said in a statement.

Located in Rio Grande do Sul state, the hub currently has 47 associated IT firms from 13 cities in the north of the state.
