The Chile division of Oracle (Nasdaq: ORCL) will host its Oracle Day 2011 conference on March 17, the company said in a release.

The event will take place in Santiago, and will feature speeches on virtualization, business continuity, storage and retail solutions.

The Brazilian division of ICT consultancy Gartner will host a conference on data centers, the company said in a release.

The conference will take place April 5-6 in São Paulo, and will touch upon data center optimization, virtualization and cloud computing trends.


Chilean shipping and ports company CSAV has tapped the Brazilian division of US business-to-business (B2B) e-commerce solutions provider GXS for outsourcing services, the latter firm said in a release.

Under the terms of the agreement, GXS Brazil will monitor CSAV's B2B partnerships. The contract encompasses areas such as transactions, integration and also support.


Chilean IT services provider Anida has released a real-time business monitoring solution, the company said in a release.

The tool is used to manage HP (NYSE: HPQ) business technology optimization (BTO)software.

Anida will use the solution to target prospects in the banking, telecommunications and retail spheres, according to company IT management director Gabriel Ledesma.
