The Brazilian division of Chilean systems integrator Sonda has named Carlos Henrique Testolini as president, the company said in a release.

Testolini will oversee Sonda's three Brazilian business divisions: Sonda Procwork, Sonda Software and Sonda Telsinc.

The executive has worked in Sonda for 14 years, and most recently headed the Sonda Procwork division.

Brazilian manufacturer Marasca has tapped Sonda Procwork, one of Chilean systems integrator Sonda's Brazilian business divisions, for a SAP (NYSE: SAP) implementation, Sonda Procwork said in a statement.

Sonda Procwork installed the SAP All-in-One solution to help Marasca facilitate strategic planning.

Marasca has 20 offices in Rio Grande do Sul state.


Brazil's 4th International SOA Symposium and 3rd International Cloud Symposium will take place on April 27-28, according to information on the conference website.

The event will take place in capital Brasília and will bring together experts from companies such as ICT consultancy Gartner, Oracle (Nasdaq: ORCL) and US company Tibco Software.


Mexican IT association Canieti will hold its general assembly on March 24, the organization said in a statement.

The event will feature a speech by Canieti president Santiago Gutiérrez Fernández, who will lay out the organization's 2011-12 roadmap.
