Sonda aims for Quintec's remaining shares

Chilean IT systems integrator Sonda has offered to purchase the remaining shares of fellow tech holding company Quintec, the former announced to local securities regulator SVS.

Sonda is offering 206 pesos apiece for the 10.57% of Quintec's shares still under minority control. Last week, Sonda purchased 89.4% of Quintec's shares - more than 140mn in total - to become its controller.

The offer will be valid from September 20 until September 30.

If accepted by Quintec's shareholders, the transaction could total 3.4bn pesos (US$6.95mn).
