Chilean IT systems integrator Sonda has inaugurated a new unit in southern Brazil, the company said in a statement.
The center in Joinville, Santa Catarina, will handle local demand for Sonda products, and house a separate software development team focused on the SME sector.
Sonda invested 5mn reais (US$3mn) in the new venture. The company expects the Santa Catarina office to consolidate its in-country partnership with SAP and expand Sonda's business based around SAP solutions in the south.
Sonda has 20 years of experience and more than 1,200 clients in the Brazilian market. The company's Brazilian presence comprises three separate divisions: IT services arm Sonda Procwork, applications developer Sonda Software and platforms branch Sonda Telsinc.
