US software firm Symphony Services has finalized an agreement to purchase Argentine company JPC Software, the former said in a statement without reporting the purchase price.
The Argentine operation complements Symphony's existing global delivery centers in India, China and the US. Through the acquisition of JPC Software, Symphony will expand global delivery capability for its independent software vendor (ISV) product development and support offerings in the South American market, the company said.
"The acquisition of JPC Software is a reflection of this mission - not only bringing immediate support services to our existing portfolio of offerings and creating new delivery opportunities for our Americas and EMEA-based clients, but also expanding our geographic reach to maximize significant growth dynamics in South America," Symphony CEO Sanjay Dhawan said.
Founded in 2002, JPC Software provides sales, software support and professional services.
