Danish software firm Targit expects to end this year with 50 clients in Brazil, and 150 by the end of 2012, Targit Brasil CEO Allan Pires told BNamericas.
Targit is looking to expand its existing Brazilian channel base with the idea of covering 100% of the country, he said.
Targit Brasil expects to initially train 10 channels to reach US$2mn in sales in two years, he added. The parent company has allocated US$500,000 to train this initial base.
The company is seeing business opportunities in certain vertical markets, such as retail, services and health, among others.
The firm is also looking to expand its operations in other countries across Latin America. "We are starting with Brazil, but we already have businesses and partners in Chile, Ecuador and Colombia," Pires said.
Globally, Targit has 3,579 clients. Targit mainly focuses on developing business intelligence solutions.
