Brazilian software development group Totvs (Bovespa: TOTS3) expects to end this year with six direct channel partners in Argentina, company commercial director for the Southern Cone, Carlos Oettel, told BNamericas.
The executive said the company currently has four partners and is looking to attract two more in the last quarter of the year. "We expect these new partners to be operational by the first quarter of 2012," the executive said.
Totvs is also looking to recruit at least five new channel partners during 2012. The company plans to add channel partners to cover Buenos Aires, Neuquén, Tucumán, Salta, Jujuy, Santiago del Estero provinces, as well as the city of Rosario, in Santa Fe province. "We may need another channel partner in Rosario in 2013, according our business projections," Oettel said.
The Latin American firm has more than 26,000 clients, 10,000 employees and 74 distribution channels.
Totvs has units in Mexico, Argentina and Portugal and operations in other 23 countries.
In Brazil, Totvs has a 48.6% market share in the ERP segment, while in Latin America its share reaches 34.5%.
