Brazilian software development group Totvs (Bovespa: TOTS3) has restructured management with the aim of expanding its leadership in the application software market and enhancing its brand and future strategy, the company said in a statement.
José Rogério Luiz is leaving his current position as executive and financial VP, as well as investor relations director, to become part of the strategy committee - a body linked to the newly created board of directors.
Totvs CEO Laércio Cosentino will temporarily replace Luiz in the vice presidency, a position expanded to incorporate a strategic approach.
Wilson de Godoy, customer service and relationship VP for the past 18 months, returns to the software development department, which was previously under the charge of VP Marcelo Monteiro, who will now be responsible for Totvs' international operations in South America.
Monteiro's mission will be enhancing regional operations to a new level of growth and profitability.
With a similar focus, Totvs director of international operations Claudio Bessa will be in charge of the northern region, including Mexico, Central America and Portuguese-speaking countries of Europe and Africa. Bessa will also be responsible for alliances management.
Current strategy VP Rodrigo Caserta will replace de Godoy as customer service and relationship VP, while managing director Alexandre Mafra will now lead the human resources department.
The changes are effective from July 1, except in the case of José Rogério Luiz, who will remain at his current post until July 31.
