Aseo Capital begins Arraiján waste collection services

Waste management firm Aseo Capital has begun solid waste collection services for central Panamanian municipality Arraiján, local press reported.

In addition, the municipality has announced the termination of all of the temporary, three-month garbage collection contracts previously awarded to private companies, newspaper La Prensa reported.

Aseo Capital will collect some 150t/d of the city's trash with 10 specialized trucks, local daily Crítica en Línea reported.

Payments for the collection services will be made either directly to the company, or to national water and sewage utility Idaan, the latter paper reported.
