Argentina's Entre Ríos province government has received one bid for a tender to carry out the first stage of a project to enclose the Antoñico stream in Paraná city.
A group comprised of local firms José Eleuterio Pitón and Luis A Demartín e Hijos submitted a bid of 30.5mn pesos (US$7.2mn), according to a release from the province government.
The project is projected to begin in early 2012 and will take a year to complete.
First-phase work involves installing two wastewater collectors along the stream between streets General Espejo and Avenida Ejército and a collector on José María Gutiérrez street.
The initiative falls under Entre Ríos' water infrastructure plan to improve Paraná city's urban and local development.
