Ecuador's pre-investment institute INP is seeking a consultant to carry out studies for the Rio Daule-Pedro Carbo water transfer project in Guayas province.
The consultancy is priced at US$5.89mn and will take 540 days to complete, according to an INP project document. Work involves developing engineering designs for the project.
The initiative aims to provide potable water to the Pedro Carbo and Isidro Ayora cantons in the southwestern coastal province, allowing the irrigation of 25,000ha and benefiting 278,000 residents.
Bids are due by December 13 and will be opened the same day. INP is slated to award the tender on January 3.
