Spanish construction firm OHL posted net income of 78.9mn euros (US$113mn) in the first half of this year, climbing 19.4% over 1H10.
Ebitda for the period grew by 21.1%, according to the company's 1H11 results release.
The increase was supported by solid growth in concessions, which saw sales rise 17.4% year-over-year and Ebitda up by 20.7%.
Overall sales inched back 0.1% year-on-year to 2.31bn euros. Of total sales, 70.2% were outside of Spain. Of that sum, Brazil took 29.8%, Mexico 15.7% and the US 11%.
