Description:
Founded in 2007, Panamá Power Holdings, Inc. (PPH) was formed to develop and operate power generation plants in Panama. Currently, the company owns four hydroelectric plants in Chiriquí province: Pedregalito 1 (20MW), Pedregalito 2 (12.5MW), Cochea (15.5MW) and El Alto (72MW), power from which is injected into the SIN grid. The company also had the La Esperanza hydroelectric plant in Costa Rica, but in 2013 it decided to sell its subsidiary in the country.
