Quaterra Resources is a Canadian junior exploration company engaged in the exploration and development of mineral properties in North America. It explores for gold, silver, copper, uranium, molybdenum, and precious metals in the United States and Mexico. Its projects include the Nieves gold-silver project in Mexico, with a total output over the 10-year mine life slated at 55.5Moz of silver and 41,000oz of gold. Nieves is a 50:50 JV between the company and Blackberry Ventures I. Quaterra Resources was founded in 1993 and is based in Vancouver, Canada.
