Scatec Solar Brazil B.V. (Scatec Solar) is the Brazilian subsidiary of Norwegian independent solar power company Scatec Solar. The company was established in 2017 and holds an 80% interest in the special purpose vehicles (Apodi I, II, III, and IV) created to be the owners, builders, and operators of four PV solar power plants in Ceara state, which will have a combined installed capacity of 150MWdc. Additionally, Scatec Solar is part of a consortium with local Kroma Energia Ltda. and partners, which signed a 20-year power purchase contract with regulator Aneel. Scatec Solar Brazil B.V. is based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, while Scatec Solar's Brazilian offices are located in Recife, Pernambuco.
