Description:
Sociedad Concesionaria Nuevo Pudahuel S.A. (Nuevo Pudahuel) is a consortium formed in 2015 by Italian construction company Astaldi S.p.A. and French airport operators Aéroports de Paris and Vinci Airports. It was awarded a concession contract to expand, renovate, maintain and operate Santiago's international airport, Arturo Merino Benitez (AMB). Works comprise the overhaul and expansion of the domestic flight passenger terminal and the construction of a new international passenger terminal. Nuevo Pudahuel expects to bring the airport's capacity to 30 million passengers annually by 2020. It became the official manager of the airport in 2015 for a 20-year period. Nuevo Pudahuel is based in Santiago, Chile.
