Sociedad Puerto Industrial Aguadulce S.A. (SPIA) is the Colombian port operator and contractor of the multipurpose terminal Puerto Aguadulce located in Buenaventura, a 128-hectare port with an annual operating capacity of 550,000 TEUs. SPIA is a subsidiary of the International Container Terminal Services, Inc. (ICTSI) which in 2013 signed an alliance with PSA to jointly develop, build and operate the port container terminal and its complementary infrastructure. Puerto Aguadulce started operations in November 2016 and its concession was granted to SPIA by the National Infrastructure Agency for a period of 30 years.
