Roundup: iSOFT, Softland, SAP

Australian IT solutions provider for the health industry iSOFT closed two new contracts in Latin America - its fourth in Mexico with a private hospital in Guadalajara, and its first in Honduras with the government, the company said in a statement. In Honduras, iSOFT will develop and implement a system to provide a central register of information for all government departments that manage health services; in Mexico, the company will implement its patient management and clinical applications, which will be integrated with SAP's (NYSE: SAP) financial application. *** Argentine drugstore chain Farmagre has selected Spanish administration software provider Grupo Softland's Advanced ERP to consolidate its business management, Softland said in a statement. Farmagre - which previously was using Softland's Factura Plus software for SMBs - decided to deploy the new solution to streamline stock management and centralize processes. *** SAP (NYSE: SAP) has named Chilean partners Crystalis Consulting and Solint as MasterVARs in Chile, for SAP's All-in-One and Business One suites, respectively, SAP said in a statement. As MasterVARs, both companies will be able to operate as wholesalers for the solutions, developing a network of second tier resellers, also called Extended Business Members (EBM), through sales training, consultancy, coaching and implementation support.
