Brief: Brazil's Bradesco steps up focus on high income clients
Brazil's Banco Bradesco is creating a new area to serve high income clients as a way to boost revenues amid an environment of lower interest rates.
Bradesco has traditionally been focused on the low and middle-income segments but in 2015 it purchased the local unit of UK banking giant HSBC, which had a strong focus on the high income segment.
Coming from the corporate banking area, Guilherme Muller Leal will head the new high income area, a Bradesco spokesperson told BNamericas.
