Panama’s state power transmission company Etesa has issued calls to carry out dispatch infrastructure with a combined budget of US$54mn.
The projects are the new 230kV Mata de Nance-Frontera line (US$34mn), the civil works for the 230kV GIS Burunga substation (US$14mn) and the addition of a transformer at the Boquerón III substation (US$6mn).
Offers for Burunga are due October 21, and October 24 for Mata de Nance and Boquerón (click on the names for bidding details, in Spanish).

Dominican Republic state power transmission company Eted has launched a public tender to build the 138kV Pedernales substation and expand the Juancho Los Cocos substation.
The operator has budgeted 317mn pesos (US$6mn) for the 17-20 month project.
Offers are due by October 26 and a decision is expected at year-end, according to procurement information.

Guyana Power and Light is seeking contractors to expand the 69kV substations Canefield, New Sophia and Columbia. Proposals are due by October 4, reference terms show.
