Central America power transmission watch

Nicaragua's state power transmission company Enatrel has secured approval to connect dispatch infrastructure to the regional grid.
In a resolution, Central America power interconnection commission CRIE authorized the operator to link 230kV lines Los Brasiles-San Benito (45km) and San Benito-Boaco (46km), and expansions at substations San Benito, Los Brasiles and Ticuantepe II.
Enatrel submitted the connection requests in November.
